SHOW AND TELL II TERM
Another Show and Tell passed by and as usual we had a great time. We had the chance to see the youngest dealing with parts of their bodies and displaying it with dances and performing. Not only they recorded a video, Seventh graders taught us how to take care of our pets.
Nature was also honored with the first grade song "I learned from them" based on The Lion King. We learnt a lot from them and Disney movies. They sang about empowering, love, Princesses able to do anything and internal beauty.
Science was also represented by experimental samples where third grade developed basic science concepts that otherwise would not have been clear for the audience.
Our kids also travelled to Mexico and delighted us with an overview of their traditions, dances, food, history, geographical descriptions. Now we all want to visit that beloved country and meet their friendly people and their music.
Fifth graders took us to the stars with their musical performance. They showed us their dancing and singing skills, even their teacher joined in with the guitar. Once again, they confirmed that music is one of the best ways to acquire vocabulary and reach bilingualism.
Grown-ups also did their best. They displayed all their artistic and English skills by performing fun dances and acting in theater plays. We had the luck to see William Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe plays and short-stories; on the other hand, ninth, tenth and eleventh graders shook their bodies and made us do the same with their energy and stunning abilities. We are already looking forward to the third Show and tell where we hope to see what our mates have learned this year of hard work and dedication.
